The 150th Anniversary Kick-off Ceremony has just been successfully held on the evening of 17th January 2025 by the 150th Students’ Union.

We are deeply honoured to have Dr. Sze Chun-fai, Jeff, JP, Under Secretary for Education, and Brother Chan Jeffrey FSC officiate the ceremony.

Witnessed by Josephians across generations, the unveiling of the commemorative plaques immortalizes the Josephian legacy, etching it into history.

The opening of the 2005 time capsule, which stores the 130th Anniversary Tie, the Tie Pin Frames of 2005 Clubs and Societies, and the essays from 2005 — “St. Joseph’s College in the Year 2025”, reflects two decades of growth and progress.

Adding to the time capsule today are the K7 North Block Light Display, School Emblem Car Badge, and Brother Thomas Favier’s Bible, which embody the theme of our 150th anniversary — Honour Our Mission, Forward with Courage.

This momentous occasion marks the beginning of a year-long celebration filled with a series of events to honour the rich history of SJC and achievements of Josephians throughout 150 years of excellence.
