About The Event
The SJC 150th Anniversary Art Exhibition highlights the diverse talents of our Josephians, celebrating their artistic achievements, and supporting the ongoing development of our art education. Let us come together to honour the past, embrace the present, and envision a future where art remains a vital part of our school's legacy!
Introduction to "Up and Coming":
The theme Up and Coming showcases the brilliance of our students and alumni and realises the boundless future that holds for our Josephians. The exhibition, Works of Josephians, features a diverse collection of student artworks, ranging from STEAM projects and environmentally themed works by our younger students to the sophisticated school-based assignments of our Form 6 Visual Arts students. Each piece tells a unique story of growth, creativity, and the evolving artistry within our school community.
A Celebration of Tradition and Innovation:
As part of our school’s 150th Anniversary celebration, this exhibition is deeply connected to the theme "Honour Our Mission, Forward with Courage." It highlights artworks that not only reflect our students' creativity but also embody the school’s enduring values. Through this exhibition, we aim to celebrate our rich tradition while inspiring innovation and courage for the journey ahead.
